i bought the card at 120, the length of my 520 i think is 5.6 or 5.7 inches? the thing stopping my 730 from putting it in is the ports at the side, my case only has the length of 2 ports, while the 730 has 3 ports, even though i dont need the 3rd port?

TBh, i dunnoe what ports u r talking about? The hdmi, dvi, vga ports on the gpu? or the usb ports on your case itself?

Both the GT 520 and GT 730 are single slot cards. It should fit. Did u remove the cables before removing the old GT 520?

If your GT 730 came with any port cover, do remove them before inserting..

Could it have been that TS's system is so slim, the GPU uses a low profile IO plate?

O ya, it could have been.... By comparing the pics, it does seem so. The pcie bracket on the GT 520 seems to be shorter...

In that case, he LL liao... Cant do anything unless he managed to find a slim I/O plate and ownself swap.

AH. yes now u made me realise, my 520 is a low profile card, so theres only 2 ports there. I'm thinking that the only solution is to buy a new case? but my motherboard is a micro atx though.

If u have the budget, overhaul everything.... Ur motherboard may nt be using standard layout for mounting..

Whats the PC for? Budget?

U would need cpu, motherboard, rams(Urs is 4GB 1333mhz, so maybe just get another 4GB 1600mhz will do, save costs. Dun worry, ur 1600 will downspeed to 1333mhz), ssd, case, power supply.

Or see if can go to SLS and hunt for a LGA 1155 mobo. Do you mind not having front panel USB 3.0 ports?

Name all games that you are playing.

Your Asus GT 730 got fan or no fan?
