Dear IT pros,

I need some help with my CPU as I am not sure whats going on. A week ago while I was using my desktop, it suddenly shut down all of a sudden and entered into a boot loop. Initially during the bootloop, my monitor was still able to display and subsequently there was no signal on my monitor anymore and bootloop still occuring. I then engaged in the services of an IT repair company that offered free diagnosis. Suprisingly, they told me when they tested on their end, they did not encountered any bootloop and was able to boot into windows. Instead they said there was a fault in my GPU as they tested with their own GPU and thus able to boot into windows while my GPU result in a no signal on the monitor. A few days back they sent my CPU back to me and I tested it again on my end. Apparently bootloop was still happening, I tried all methods such as replacing with my spare gpu, changing monitor, changing cables all to no avail. What is going on here? Why the problem that I reported was entirely different from the repair site they encountered.

Thanks

Chances are they were trying to sell you an overpriced useless part in exchange for the "free evaluation".

Probably a PSU issue
