Hi Im looking to upgrade my current rig in view of the upcoming Black Friday Sales.
Im looking to play overwatch on a 144hz monitor.
Current Rig:
Processor:i7 4770
Mobo: Asus H97M
Memory: 8GB Graphics:GTX950
PSU: 500W inbuild into a case which brand i do not know....

Looking to upgrade my monitors and rig. I prefer to keep some of my rig though so as to save some money. Budget would be $800.
Any kind souls could tell me what i can keep and what i should upgrade to achieve playing 144hz on overwatch?
Thank you~

For your budget might be hard to squeeze.

Cos if u want to upgrade get a GPU like GTX 1070 and a monitor like benq XL24 total maybe 1k+even with coupons discount maybe hit 900+.

Only GPU like EVGA get the cheapest GTX 1070 from Amazon.

monitor u have to buy in local.

Reasons is that GTX 1070 is able to ship to SG for free, but not monitor.

would qoo10 have a promotion this 11.11 (Pray~~) for the gtx1070?

And would this monitor suffice from amazon to give me 1080p 144hz?

https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920...?ie=UTF8&qid=1478581255&sr=8-3&keywords=144hz

i guess at most a $100 coupon?

u were abit too late to the party unfortunately. 2 weeks ago, there was a cart + shop coupon with each providing $100 off. many people, including me, got a 1070 for only 388.

i think the monitor would work. but u ship over to sg already how much... not to mention import tax.

both can fit into your current motherboard, just that not sure for your casing.

the psu still enough for GTX 1070 (but if your psu really are those non branded, u might need to consider changing it as well in later time.)

and as for GTX 1060 shouldn't be any issues to the psu and casing u are using.

GTX 1070 only consumes on average 30W more than GTX 1060 6GB....

damn with such epic graphic the fps hover around ave of 120+ fraps, and when fighting (shoot out) ave become 110+ fraps. seems like GTX 1070 might be the best bet.
