[HELP] Iphone 6 headphone jack issue

Hi my iphone 6 is showing that my earpiece is plugged in when its not. Because of this, i can only take phonecalls only on earpiece or loud speaker and its annoying. tried plugging in and out my earpiece, restart, hard restart but not helping. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also, if i were to do a 1 to 1 exchange, i should be going to my service provider store or apple store?

Try restore first, if it still persists then go for 1 to 1 at your service provider.

have you tried turning off the phone?
Try reset too by:
1. Press and hold the power button and home button until the screen turns black.

2. Once the screen's black, release the home button whilst holding the power button.

3. Release the home button once the Apple logo appears.

Anyone report static on iPhone 6 and the sound sucks

Maybe some fabric went inside.
Try using a fine toothpick and see if you can fish anything out.

I can only recommend restoring iOS, its likely to be hardware issue by your description.. For exchange, go to apple service provider, telco don't do exchange anymore

can i check if apple service provider still do 1 - 1 exchange? or have to repair?
