Help!! Iphone 7 home button chipped

Hi guys would like to seek your advice on my damaged Iphone 7's home button. Dropped it just now and the home button got a small chip but the screen is fine.

Called the service provider like A.Lab and QCD and they do not do replacement of ip7 home button. I did not purchase apple care as well. Only thing I got is the Singtel's Mobileswop insurance which covers a 1 for 1 exchange for $190, BUT it's a refurbished set which I don't really want. Phone is around 2 months old.

do the mobileswap, sell it & re-purchase again this time with applecare.

if you see the teardown the button is like fixed to the glass panel so even if they're going to proceed with any repair, it won't be an easy fix.

this is only possible if he had bought the iPhone within the last 60 days.

anyway, @TS, the only way to get your button fixed is to exchange for a refurbished/replacement set. If you change your home button assembly, you will lose your Touch ID functionality.. Just go for the mobileswop as its your cheapest option right now..

Yup just gonna do the mobileswop. Called apple and the only solution they can provide is to change the whole screen which cost around 300 bucks since the home button is connected to the motherboard etc.

New iPhone cannot simply change home button. Changing whole panel is much expensive. As long as everything for new phone is working it is a good choice for phone exchange.

Although the home button is not mechanical type, it is not part of the screen! It is a separate piece of hardware.
