My brother was playing dota 2 and the computer just died out of nowhere.

According to him, there was a derh.... sound before the computer died. Now, the computer cannot be switched on anymore.

Nothing happens when I press the power button.

Edit: now there's start up light and sound.

Monitor is still black. PSU's fan doesn't spin at all.

Youtube for psu paper clip test. If the fan spins, then its something else that is spoil le.

Try boot up without gpu and 1 stick of ram. If u have multiple hdd/ssd, remove all except for OS drive.

Hi, my power supply is built into the case. I don't think I can conduct the paper clip test..

Add info: psu fan doesn't spin when I try to start the computer.

I tried switching the cables and monitors, but the screen is still black.

Even if your PSU is "built in" which i never heard of it before, the cable can still be removed for paper clip test unless you are using a mac desktop.
