[Help] Liquid Cooling for i5 8600k

Hi,

I just wondering if i were to buy i5 8600k, will Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120mm enough to cool the cpu?? (I don't think i will overclock)

I'm using a Fractal Design Nano S.

Why get a cooler that don't really allow you to overclock when you are getting an overclocking chip in the first place? Anyway, there are plenty of good air coolers that can do better than using this liquid cooling. Liquid cooling sounds cool until it starts giving you pump problems or start leaking.

Ya. But i don't know if the air cooler is tall enough or too tall for my mini itx case.

I think you can easily find the dimension of the case and measure isn't it? My understanding is that the motherboard is vertically mounted for this case, and should fit some decent tower air cooler. This information is in fact readily available on Fractal Design's site. The site says, "CPU coolers up to 160mm in height".

If you don't overclock, don't get 8600K cos non-K 8400's Turbo boost speed will take effect all the time. Essentially, 8400 is slower than 8600K by a meagre 300MHz.
