help me choose!! 2.0 speakers

Hey guys, currently i'm in dilemma which 2.0 speaker to choose from.

EDIFIER R2000DB $240
MackieCR5BT? / Mackie cr4BT? $351
Presonus E4.5? $265


Which do you guys recommend? Personally have tired edifier and mackie alr, havent get the chance to try presonus. Any suggestion for people who have xperiences with these speaker?

The r2000db has dynamic mode switched on by default and you have to change it to classic every time you power it on. Might be good if you like your music v shaped.

Great speakers for ~$230. Used for 5 months or so.

I listened to the Presonus E3.5 last weekened and was blown away by the sound quality that I heard from that price and size. I think you own it to yourself to listen to the 4.5 before you decide.

A little background info. I currently own a Mackie CR3, am gonna buy another set of 2.0 for another desk setup. So its not really a replacement/upgrade!

Tried z623, too bassy for my liking, kinda annoying, Voice and everything not clear as compared to my mackie cr3, maybe i used to cr3 alr. haha!

I don't need these speaker for work or anything, just casual gaming, listening to music

I wouldn't say i'm very good and listening to audio and stuff.. but base on my opinion, my current Mackie CR3 is kinda lacking in the bass area. Edifier R2000DB does actually sound much more bass if i were to compare it to cr3. I have not tried CR5.

I'm very attracted to Mackie's design tho..(Except for the green rings, which i most probably will paint it white/black or smth..)
The volume knob is at the front which is really a plus point.

If you want more bass, what you can do is choose a pair of monitoring speakers that allow you to hook up a sub to it for more bass. But few have this functions, off the top of my head, only Kanto speakers and PSB PS1 Alpha.

Ahh! The edifier is also studio monitor right? Haha

As for a subwoofer out, edifier r1850db has it, it's slightly smaller compared to r2000db

But would it be fine if I just plug into my com's subwoofer outlet?

yea it should be fine. but note that I have not ever done that, just that in theory there's no reason why it shouldn't be fine.
