help me choose a laptop

Hi all I'm currently presented with 2 choices, pls give me some advice which is a better choice

macbook air 11 inch 2013 version with 256gb and 4gb ram

macbook pro 13 inch 2011 version with 500gb SSD and 8gb ram

I mainly use for multitasking work between programming stuffs and some moderate design work on photoshop/illustrator. is the air powerful enough for such work

MBP simply because you will need the memory for PS & Illustrator.

and without a doubt..macbookpro can changed HDD(not the new retina model hor)
onced u r in photoshop..u need lotta HDD space..trust me on this

Get the retina MacBook Pro.
Don't worry so much about storage, 500 gig is more than sufficient... There are always external storage solutions.

MBA more for just presentation use.

I have my reservations about whether you can really do productive work on an 11" display. In my opinion, it is too small. If you're not going to always have an external display to work with, I would suggest at least get the 13". So given the options you presented that will mean the MBP 2011. The other factor to consider is your mobility needs. I recently posted an article on my blog which might be useful read (MacBook Buying Guide | Zit Seng's Superwall), though I was only considering the current generation offerings (MBA and RMBP).
