Help me decide, Sony or asus

Im looking for ultrabook, I have shortlist for either Sony Vaio Duo 13 or Asus Taichi 31. After discount, both are price difference of $100 (asus is cheaper), same specs except the below consideration:

Sony-
*Longer battery life (10 hrs, compare to Asus 5 hrs)
8GB RAM (Asus is 4GB RAM)
1.348kg (Asus is 1.56kg, difference of 200gm)
Graphics - Intel HD Graphics 4400 (Asus is Intel HD Graphics 4000)
Made in Japan (Asus made in China)

USB too close
*Cannot adjust the tilt angle

Asus-
*Dual Screen
*2 years warranty (Sony's 1 year warranty)

Non-touch screen on laptop mode

* is important factor consideration to me.

Which will you choose and why????

I'd go for the Sony due to battery, RAM, and of course, Japan quality. Sony's warranty is 15 months if you register online. Can purchase 1-2 years extension too.

I've looked at both machines since I was on the hunt for a portable laptop.... The Sony's screen is very very clear and sharp. However you cannot adjust the screen angle which is annoying and the trackpad is tiny.

Taichi is running the older Intel 3XXX chips, while Sony is using Haswell, hence battery life difference. If you can, wait for a bit, perhaps a refresh will be out soon.

I think you can buy extended warranty for Sony too.

Thanks you... I thought the difference in battery life is due to having 2 screen display.

Why do you need to get the dual screen Taichi? I would have thought the secondary screen would reduce battery life. Honestly, Ultrabooks are already very mobile and don't really require a secondary screen behind. The dif in price can get you a decent tablet.
