Help me to plan the route.

Hi,

Plan to go Taiwan next year around March and will land at Taoyuan airport. Plan to stay 8 days in Taiwan and some area might get a driver .Plan to stop at Taichung for 1 night and then go to Yilan, Hualian, hehuanshan, Taroke George and last will be Taipei. Need some advice on the route. Thank you in advance.

Airport -> Taichung -> Nantou -> Cingjing -> Wuling, Hehuanshan -> Taroko gorge -> Hualien -> Yilan -> Taipei.

Wuling farm is on the way to taroko gorge, so no problem. But to detour to SML then go back to Taroko, 1 day cannot. Go SML and back already 3/4 days.

If your 1st night is in Taichung, nx day you can go Sunmoonlake and lodge in cingjing.
Day3 - cingjing to wuling farm
Day4 - Yilan
Day 5 - Hualien

Wuling farm is nearer to Yilan. I've been there twice. If you stay at wuling Hoya resort, can join their star glazing at night. It's amazing nice.

think is a waste of time being a touch and go trip.
you ought to spend some good times to enjoy/explore the place.

at least you should google the location in the map to show you where are these places before you make any plan to visit.

most of your time is spend either in the car or train.
