Help me with my pc build

My motherboard went kaput recently and now I need help in building a new pc.

I usually play WOW, Diablo, Overwatch, Dota, Lol and HoTS and will also probably be playing Destiny.

I am using some parts that I just replaced in my old pc. A MSI GTx1060 gpu, asus pce-ac68, Coolermaster hyper 212x cpu cooler, my old 1tb hard drive, 3 of my old ssd, my monitor and my new speakers and also my old optical drive and also I am using back 2 of my gentle typhoon fans.

Whats the latest cpu and motherboard that can last me another 5 years? Should I get a M2 SSD? I don't really need the light and the bling for the pc case. But I do like the new case to be the same size as my old pc case which is a bitfenix shinobi. Is there a case where there's filters so dust won't get into the case itself?

I am sorry for the long detailed information. I am quite clueless about the current processor and motherboard market now so I am thankful for any help that I can get.

Bro you can try get a lga 1155 mobo to replace the dead mobo or just wait for b or h series mobo to be out then get i5 8400 with it + new ddr4 ram. Or just get ryzen 5 1600.
Don't need m.2 ssd normal sata ssd will do makes no difference for gaming.

Chassis I quite like the fractal design meshify C very nice chassis with good air flow front mesh intake filters included and comes with beautiful tempered glass side panel. Top and front with open mesh got more cool air intake for better hardware temp to cool your hardware.

What's your budget?

If just need to change MB+CPU then just pick a bundle from the pricelist

R5 1600 or i5-8400 as others have suggested

intel currently only have z370 mb (which is not worth to pair with 8400 due to locked chip) suggest u go with ryzen r5 though.

My budget is ard 1-1.5k.

I don't really need to overclock, just require the mobo and chip can play any games with high enough settings 5 years down the road.

When will the new mobo come in? I am going crazy using my small macbook for everyday computer use and I really want to play some games.

As for the casing, I just need a good case that has filters so I can keep out the dust, see through side panels are an after thought.

Anyway what is the difference between amd and intel stuff? I have always use intel processors though and seem to lean towards them.

I think I'll just get my new pc now, so I'll go for the z370 motherboard with an i5 8600k processor.

I'm leaning towards MSI Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard. Is it good enough or is there a better motherboard?

As for the ram, I think I'll go for G.SKILL TRIDENT Z 3200MHZ CL16 ( 8GBx2pcs ). Is that good or are there better ones? I am not really sure about these new ddr4 ram.

As for the PSU, I would love a recommendation as I have absolutely no idea which one is good. I would prefer for it to be reliable, not noisy and have low temp.

The casing I am deciding either on Fractal Design R5 blackout or Fractal Design Meshify C.

Do let me know if there are any other alternatives.

Sure, i have both... trident rgb 3200mhz n ddr3 2400mhz. Doesnt make any difference. Just the rgb! Oh my!

I was comparing the 16gb kit and saw that it ranges from $240 to $290. I thought to myself might as well top up $40 for a better one. Haha.

I don't really need the rgb version. As I prefer my pc to not emit any lights lol.

Is the stock for the parts that I want hard to get?

As for the PSU, is this one SEASONIC FP FX-650W GOLD ok for my setup?

As for the M2 ssd, I think I'll get a 512gb one as the current ssd that I use for the OS is a 128gb and I have 2 256gb ssd as storage. So I do need a bigger ssd, so might as well get an M2. Which M2 is good though?
