Help me with this ram problem

I bought a 8 gb Kingston ram today to upgrade it to my computer. Problem is, I bought it blindly without thinking if it's the same as my previous Kingston ram.

They both have KVR16N11/8.

Yes they are the same thing lol. Different types of RAMs have differing key notches to prevent wrong type of RAM from being installed...
