Help! Mobo pin bent

Hi I accidentally bent one pin while removing my cpu from my mobo socket just now. I put the cpu back and it works. Im intending to buy another CPU, question is...do all cpu have the same crucial pins location or will it not work if i get another cpu and put it in? Also since its bent is it possible for me to do an RMA or is the warranty void?
