Help: My keyboard turn into unrecognizable

I had an acer keyboard use it for 2 or 3 yrs already. Now when i use it to play games like Cod BO. In the mid game i am stuck, keyboard light turn off. Cannot move (wsad).
Restart the pc, it says unrecognizable. Solution pls anyone?

I ran into a similar problem recently. Bought a new keyboard. Problem solved.
