If you have a mathematical background you will enjoy economics more, accounting is very saturated
Economics is much harder to do well in, and you really have to do well for your degree to hold any weight. There are less jobs in economics but they are also a lot more competitive, prestigious, so it’s likely if you can land a job in economics you won’t have to work those **** accounting hours, but this also means the economics jobs are very “brand” conscious about where your degree is from
But ultimately it depends on what interests you, do you have ppl who have worked in either area u can ask??
