[Help Needed] Building a Rig with Amazon

I have a few Qns before i start:
-What parts are cheaper on Amazon compared to simlim?
-Assuming i plan to built it in mid september, when is the best time to order? (will there be any huge sales coming soon?)

Since it will be my first time building, assuming i buy GPU from amazon, can i go to a shop in Sim lim and request they build it for me if i buy the remaining parts there?

And are all PC parts interchangeable and compatible? since i'm worried the parts from different brands might not work together...
