Help needed! CMOS battery

What type of CMOS battery is usually found in PCs? My CMOS battery could be dying and I am looking to buy a new one. Is there a standard CMOS battery commonly used in all PCs or do i need to open up my PC to take out and check?

CR2032, you can find this in NTUC and shops which sell sundry stuff

you can check your cmos battery balance in HWiNFO under motherboard section like underline below, if this fall below 3v can consider to change :

Thanks all for yr help. I have dl the HWiNFO and it shows my CMOS batt is still healthy. But I seem to be having this problem of having clock sync error everytime i turn off my power plug and back on when i want to start up my pc.

And also on first attempts my pc cant boot up/ or it did but my display isnt showing anything. Only on 2nd attempts everything is normal.

Any idea on what the issue could be? RAM? Graphic card?

Possible to share more on your system hardware ?

may I know if you clock sync issue was at the BIOS level or Windows level ?

you can try to remove the current battery and insert again, that will clear your cmos and reset all your bios setting and hope it help to resolve your clock sync issue. or you can buy a new CR2032 as suggested by Koenig168 to replace the current battery.

If this happen only when u off ur PSU power then it shall b the cmos battery. Just replace it (it is cheap anyway ~$1).

If u doing OC n alot of setting are in the bios. Please remember to export to USB drive.
Disconnect PSU when u changing the cmos battery. Lastly if u comfortable, perform a cmos clear jumper before u insert e new battery. Then it should b good unless mb got hw problem.
