Help needed.. Computer faulty

My com has some problem starting.

At first it could boot to windows 7.

After i shut it down, the next day when i turn it on again, the com could not boot into windows. It attempted a restart and got hung at the bios.

Reset it again and no display was on the screen although fans and lights were running.

Shut off com, light still running.

Any idea of the problem, or what i need to check?

did you hear any beeps? if yes, it is actually giving you an idea what went wrong. different sequence for different mobos I think.

Seems like the PSU is faulty. Normally, I will troubleshoot this item first as it is the most common fault. Get a spare PSU and attached it to the system. If it works, means the psu is faulty.

First thing you should do is re-seat the memory modules and graphic card and check the power connectors. If problem persist, see below. (If it is a memory or GPU problem, you should normally get some beeps. However, in any trouble-shooting, re-seating components is always a prudent and cost-effective first step.)

From your specs, looks like an old motherboard. Could be time to replace the CMOS battery. If the problem persist, it is likely either the PSU, motherboard or CPU. You can test the PSU with a paper clip + casing fan. (If you are not savvy with electrical stuff (e.g. you do not know what test I am talking about), please get someone to help you to avoid risk of getting electrocuted.) If it is not the PSU, then it is probably time for a system upgrade.
