Need some advise on whether a USB doggle or PCIe lan card is gd for the desktop. Any recomd brand or device? Am using 1Gbps from M1.
Is there any current issues with connecting LAN cable to your motherboard LAN? If not, dun need to bother much.
One only goes for pcie-LAN if the current LAN port on mobo is damaged or if one wants to use 2GBPS or 10GBPS network in which current LAN ports cant really support.
If you need wifi for desktop, pcie-LAN shld be slightly better than USB dongles. But more ex as well.
The Asus Rig is decent for editing.Hi bros,
Torn between doing my own rig or buying direct from Asus.
Saw a Asus desktop K20CD-SG017T selling at 899 with the following spec,
✔ Intel® Core™ i7-6700 Processor (8M Cache, Up to 4.0GHz)
✔ Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
✔ Discrete Graphics GT 730 with 2GB DDR3
✔ 8GB DDR4 RAM / 1TB SATA HDD +128GB SSD
✔ SuperMulti DVD RW
✔ 6-in-1 Card Reader/ USB 3.0/ USB 2.0/ Microphone Port/ Headphone Port/ HDMI Output/ VGA Output
✔ 3 Years ASUS ON-SITE Warranty
Is this a better deal or diy a rig with the same spec?
Main purpose is to do some video and photo editing works.
yes understand the drop in signal.
give n take lor..
unless i want long ugly lan cable running in the house.
Even long lan cable will have lost in signal.
So any bro can recomd any brand on PCIe or usb doggle?
