Hi

I'm in need of a new desktop, have a handful of questions that hope you guys can help me with.

1) Never build a PC before, is it recommended for me to build it this time on my own? Or anyone to recommend?

2) Usually run my PC in a non air-con environment, and can run for longgg hours sometimes. Is a chassis with heavy ventilation or cooler needed?

3) A budget of $1300 (including OS and monitor), not a gamer usually need the PC for movies, music, photo editing. Is the budget enough for a set up that can last me a few decent years, if not, able to up my budget to $1500

4) Will be putting my previous soundcard and 2 HDD in it, will this affect the required PSU rating?

5) Lastly can anyone recommend me a set-up with these conditions?

Sorry for all the trouble and the lengthy post. Would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

3) Storing movies locally or just streaming off web? Photo editing with what sort of softwares? How heavy is it?

4) What sound card is that? Running off PCI or PCI Express slot? HDD running off IDE or SATA interface?

Video editing especially for 4K takes alot of resources. Need to have a good graphics card, processor and ram. i7, GTX760 and minimum 8GB ram.

I will be storing movies locally. Photo editing are mainly with photoshop and sometimes will have to run it concurrently with other programs like onOne Photo Suite, Photomatix Pro, Topaz Labs.

It's a creative SoundCard (xtrememusic i guess) running on PCI slot. and HDD running of SATA

Once in awhile might do some video editing and I intend to max out my budget as well too.

Is 1300 enough for these requirements?
