Help needed for sim card

I'm on M1 but I can't use the data passport as my plan is not eligible for that. What other options are available? Can I buy sim card at the airport?

Also, any vpn that I can use to bypass the firewall?

Which airport are you arriving into? I recalled based on my last trip to Shanghai, it is available. If not, you can buy from the telecom shops in town area or from some of the shops here in SG before you leave SG.

I've been using Starhub Prepaid for the last 6 months.
Works perfectly in the places i used.
Must check if your phone supports their 3G/4G.


Now Google, Facebook, Whatsapp all blocked by China.

It was blocked during the 19th CPC Congress. Now should be able to use (Google and FB with VPN).

China itself has 100% blocked Google, Facebook and WhatsApp.

VPN, I was still able to use them during that period. Just it's hard to use VPN, Disconnect often.

So I have my backup Starhub's Happy Prepaid for that.

My last trip was 8 weeks in AnHui, HeFei.

WhatsApp was working till before Congress, then was not resumed after that.

I can access with my own VPN setup from my home Asus router.

Anyway why keep repeating the Google and Facebook cannot be accessed.

My sentence was a reference to "Since Now" with additional WhatsApp not able to be accessed.

Anyway I don't like wasting time on pointless argument.
