[Help Needed] Gpu fan isn’t spinning

Hey guys so i just set up the pc myself. All parts are new, but my gpu fan isn’t spinning.
i downloaded msi afterburner and checked, the gpu is receiving 0 voltage. I was running the lian li strimmers for the gpu, i thought it was that issue. But even after i switch to direct pcie cables they do not spin as well. Actually when i turn it on it spins for 5 secs and all stops.

what could be the other issues here? Im using the y60 case so the gpu actually bypass a pcie4 riser cable.

Don't think it is a issue as some GPU fan doesn't spin always but on load.
Have you tried play games/3D mark, if fan still not spinning that means
the card have issue.

i did not try yet on any games. but afterburner showing 0 volt?

on gigabyte 3060 vision product page, one of the selling points is a fan stop feature, which means that if ur gpu is idle and at a low enough temperature, the fans will stay off. so ur card is working as intended, especially since u noted that the fans will start at boot for a short time. this is actually a pretty standard feature of high end cards, my strix 580 does that too. as techidiot mentioned, try running a game; the fans should start spinning once the card gets hot enough.

use gpuz to see the voltage. your gpu should be doing fine. try using afterburner and set fan to 70% and see if it spins

go and set custom fan curve in msi afterburner, default built in profile might not suit all

Is OK for myself also have the same thought after I got my ASUS Strix graphic card.
In the past most most graphic card fan were spinning than when I got the Strix.
I feel funny why the fan isn't spinning but take note not all graphic card have such feature.
