[Help Needed] New Rig $500 Budget

Hi all, helping my Bil to find a budget rig. Just the rig, no need monitor kb etc...

Budget is $500, not alot but he don't use it for gaming. Just editing some GoPro videos.

Not sure if it's a great deal for the price or a DIY is better.

Price is okay. But do mind, DIY have upgrade path, while this OEM model is close to nothing. Only can add/remove ram and storage devices. The rest cannot change. Airflow is bad too.

those intel atom and pentium 3xxx series , too slow for serious usage .... many brands using these cpu in laptop $200 - 700 ...
in my opinion they only deserve to be in tablets and ultralight (1kg) laptop

If you can spare a bit more moolah, you can add a video card which can accelerate your video editing, photo editing and improve playback of high resolution videos

GPU: Zotac GT1030 2GB GDDR5 @ $119 (PC Themes) - The performance of this GPU is better than integrated video and GT705. Please check the price with Tradepac as well since their price list shows it as "OFFER". Besides Tradepac, you can also check with other shops to find out the best price.
