Hi guys,

I am having random blank screen when using the com, it happens more when gaming but still happens when surfing the net etc.

Sometimes it will just turn blank for a few seconds (audio still function), other times it will just remain blank. My temporary solution is just take out ram and switch them, also sometimes take out the GFX as well. But this is happening too frequently with no real solution. I suspect it's my PSU but I might be wrong.

Below is my configuration:

Intel i7 2600K @ 3.4 GHz
H80 Liquid Cooling
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
Palit 3072 MB GTX 580
Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHZ 8GB (4GBx2) CL9
OCZ 120 GB Agility 3 SSD
1 500 GB HDD
1 2 TB HDD
Dell Ultrasharp 23 inch
Samsung DVD Drive
Seasonic M12II Modular 650W 80+ (Bronze)
Cooler Master Storm Enforcer
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
I also have two 200 mm fans in the rig

Not sure the above is consuming too much power until my rig randomly goes blank.

Anyone can advise? Thanks!

Just freeze there. Sry, when I load more into gaming the GPU goes to 80, CPU still about 65.

Still too high? Confirm overheating issues?

my i5 went to 99degree before all ok, because it will throttle, your rig PSU will power it sufficiently, so maybe is your GPU dieing?

Go download 3D furmark test. Turn every settings to high and test. Monitor how high does the gpu temp goes. If it crosses 90deg or more means your gpu is burning up. Take note of the black screen. How is the black screen goes. Totally black out but cpu fan everything moving? Or total shutdown? If it does not black out then fine. If it does can try rma gpu if there is warranty left.

If gpu does not heat up stays fine within 15mins then download prime95. Stress load it and monitor with hwmonitor. If it crosses 90deg afer 45mins then see does it black out? If it does check your thermal paste. Wipe it off using alcohol swipes and reapply thermal paste and do back prime95 test. If it fails again then rma your cpu.
