Tried to open Apps Store to update but it loads partially and stop i.e. page format not in placed. Icons partial loaded & loading very slow and incomplete.

Done PRAM reset 3 times liao but same same.

Now I'm using Firefox & Crome browser no problem.

Good that you have isolated the issue no problem with other browsers.

Can you boot to your mac in "Safe Mode" and try the software update again?

Also while booted in safe mode, see if issue persists with Safari.

If it does not, there's a 3rd party process that's causing the issue(blocked while in safe mode).

You may also want to review the following article to troubleshoot Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues - Apple Support

Another isolation method is to create a test user account on your mac and test Safari there to see if issue persists(User-specific or system-wide)

post back your findings after reviewing the above.

Thanks for your quick response!! I have tried creating a test user account, but the same problem persist. I have kept Safari clean with minimal 3rd parties plug-ins.

I recalled i install/updated Samsung Kies app earlier. Am not sure if this is the cause of it. Am downloading the uninstaller now to remove Kies to test.

I removed Kies and there's no change to the Safari & Apps Store issue. Did use a new test account and test Safari & Apps Store same outcome. Looked up Apple Community support and most mentioned to Reset PRAM.

Has anyone experience this issue before? Sian man!!

Is there any FOC diagnostics i can use?

Resetting NVRAM does not help for the symptoms you're facing. If you read the NVRAM Reset article, you will see that it's more of hardware related problems.

Based on your isolation methods.

- issue is App-specific: Safari
- issue is system-wide: happens with other accounts

Have you tried safe boot and software update as mentioned on my previous post?
Did you went through the folders where 3rd party add-ons could be installed as per the "u supported 3rd party Add-on article I linked on my previous post?

/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/
/Library/Input Methods/
/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/ScriptingAdditions

Hi
Thanks again for coming to my rescue.

Yes i have moved all the 3rd parties addons - plug-ins/etc to another folder.

Did the safe boot twice (script ran and booted up, login & ran firefox to report). BUt no change to Safari (Not loading at all) & Apps store (loading partial or freeze, see pics).

I see there's a couple of software updates...

have you tried running software update in safe boot?
What's the current OS X version your mac is running?

Assuming you're on OS X Mavericks(not on OS X Yosemite based on the screenshot), you can use firefox to download the os x 10.9.5 combo update manually below.

OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 Update (Combo)

When i run "Safe Boot", i used Shift+command+V. I saw some lengthy scripts and followed by the regular login process.

Next i run Apps Store & the (prev post )picture is what i got. Ran Safari, progress bar went to "1 inch" and freezed, didnt load.

I am on OS X 10.9.5. Do i still update with 10.9.5 (Combo)?

Thanks

That's not safe boot, safe boot is just the shift key.

Refer to following: OS X: What is Safe Boot, Safe Mode? - Apple Support
OS X: Keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support

You should see red safe boot on top right of the login screen

Aha!!! My mistake. I must have seen the wrong instructions in Apple forum.

OK i have done the Safe Boot. But Same results for both Safari & Apps Store.

This sucks. : (

So...

Issue is App-Specific, System-Wide; OS-specific since happens on safe boot as well.

Just to be sure it's not network related, boot into OS X Recovery(Hold down Command + R on startup)
In the main menu of OS X Recovery, select "Get Help Online"
It will open up a Safari window, see if you have similar issue with Safari here.

If yes, try toggling to another wifi network like your phone personal hotspot to test again.

You may want to try the combo update I linked in the previous post as well.

Last resort if the issue is persistent even in recovery, you'll need to perform a re installation of the OS. Make sure you complete a Time Machine Backup before doing this.

You don't have to erase and install, just select "Reinstall OS X" in OS X Recovery main menu and follow the instructions - this process should retain your data but just backup anyways as no one can guarantee you no data loss, not even Apple.

I will try the 10.9.5 (combo) update 1st & see if it helps. I got a feeling it could be issues pertaining to OS X. This happens after 10.9.5 update where network access became a problem. BTW, My MBA is a mid 2011 model, could it be 10.9.5 was not fully optimized for older model "coms" chip-set? Another reason for not going for Yosemite yet till it stabilize (Heard of wifi issue).

Will try Recovery later and post my findings.

Thanks you for your patience and walking me through this issue.
Cheers!

I haven't got to testing on other network yet. But if i can get access via firefox & chrome now but not Safari & Apps store. Would it still be Network issue?

I did update with 10.9.5 (Combo). No change in status on Safari.

Did start up on Recovery mode. Got full "Recovery Info" listed. Search for yahoo & amazon. Not loading.
Turn off wifi on MBA, use my mobile connect via USB hotspot search yahoo & Amazon via phone wifi. Not Loading.
Tested search on standalone Iphone mobile Safari. Browse on mobile alone as normal via wifi.

So looks like my MBA Safari & Apps Store. Down in all levels of testing.

Very rare situation indeed.

Safari does not even work in OS X recovery.

Quite curious actually. If you want to try a remote session(teamviewer) with me, drop me a PM.
