My note 2 kena rain a few weeks back, it was treated with hair dryer (I know its a dumb idea), then the parts were dismantled and put into a container of rice to absorb the moisture.
Now, everytime I unlocked my phone, the screen would appear for 5 seconds.
After awhile, only the top part of the screen works and the rest fades away and becomes not responsive.
(This picture shows I'm on the Apps page while the bottom part of the screen still showing the Home page.)
Initially I wanted to change the LCD, but I realised there wasn't any problem when I'm using the camera.
The screen works perfectly fine as well, when I play a video.
Touchscreen and everything still works as long as you know wherever you touch takes you to lol. I'm suspecting it might be a problem with the motherboard. Can anyone confirm or advise me on a solution? How much would it cost to change the motherboard?
Your help is greatly appreciated!
