Help needed to pinpoint problem

Hi experienced community members,

I'm currently experiencing this problem with my computer and am trying to fix it without costing me too much trouble.

Background information:
I have been using my rig for about 6 years. Recently, while playing simple games like DoTa, my screen would go blank and come back on. This led me to think it was a GPU problem. I didn't bother about it, but this issue became more and more frequent. A few days ago, the same thing happened, and I force shut down my computer. It was unable to boot up past "Windows Starting" stage. This then led me to think there was a problem with my SSD.

Being desperate, I reformatted my entire SSD and installed windows 10 on it. While installing new drivers, the computer would crash again and after a few crashes, it would be unable to boot up at all (can't even enter safe mode)

This really leads me to believe that the problem originates from my SSD.

I know it's about time to upgrade my computer, but i'm short on funds now and am looking for the cheapest possible short-term solution to fix my computer.

If anyone here knows whether the problem likely lies in my SSD or GPU, or something else altogether, please let me know! Thank you!

I doubt it is the GPU. You can easily test this by connecting to the iGPU instead.

I'm more inclined to think MB failure but can't really be sure without testing.

could be Windows corruption so reinstall .....

Nice, I will isolate out the GPU later and test it out.

For SSD, can check with Crystaldiskinfo or HDTune.

Based on what TS post, highly like GTX770 issue.
