[Help needed] unable to boot after installing new drivers.

Hello all, have met a new problem after installing my new gpu.
Current specs as per my profile however I was installing a new Rtx 2070super and after installing the nvdia drivers, on restart I start encountering issues specifically "!boot device not found"

I did the usual, change or sata ports and even changed back to my old gpu but alas the problem remain. I checked the BIOS and could see that my boot drive is being detected except I can't boot from it. Can any gurus point me in the right direction?
Or is there any physical help I can get in SLS?

check the power cable and sata cable of your boot drive, are they plug in or loose

make sure boot drive is set correctly in bios

Checked all. It's being detected in the UEFI but even when I select the boot sequence, it just tells me boot drive not detected

Try another sata cable or port?
On a side, your rig is too old.

Tried changing ports liao. Doesn't seem to work as well. It was initially working on the 430 drivers but it can't display my native resolution so I went to update to latest 440 and try then boot drive died along with it... Now I'm unsure where the point of failure actually is

erm,i suspect the newer version corrupted ur drive.

u try going to safe mode and do recovery from there.

if cannot even go safe mode, insert your window cd...repair from there.
if still cannot, see whether u can see the drive from there
if can see, my last solution just reinstall win.

I supposed resetting the cmos means to hit the power button thrice? Sorry noob question from me haha.

Yeah it's a software upgrade but unfortunately I can't reverse it because I'm not able to even boot up my primary drive. Safe mode isn't working for me as welll due to that, it's a really peculiar issue. The only logical explanation as someone has suggested earlier is that perhaps the nvdia drivers corrupted my primary boot drive

Try switch your boot mode, uefi and legacy boot mode see if it helps

Update, I end up reinstalling my OS altogether as I'm unable to fix it which brings me to my next question.

As I have multiple HDD previously, how do I 'restore those partitions back? It's detectable on my UEFI but not on windows.

go check Windows Disk Management to manage your disks partition
