Greetings to all bro and sis.

I need help urgently as my friend will be coming to singapore for holiday trip.

I checked the restriction of items in airport but not too sure about it.

Question is : can my friend help me bring in Liquid Glue for acrylic to singapore in check in luggage. Not hand carry.

Would want to bring in about 10 bottles of 480g per bottle.

Expert or experience senior please help!!

Thanks!

10 bottles of 480g per bottle seem excessive for private use. You may be taxed.

10 bottles of liquor? Confirmed taxed.
Singaporeans will be fined if never declare- feigning ignorance is no excuse.
1 tube of liquid glue should be alright.

I've brought in tubes of KS-BOND and cans of cream (for leather) and bottles of dyes (for leather) and no problem with that. All checked in though.

In general, all goods imported into Singapore are subject to Goods and Services Tax (GST). You need to present a Customs permit for clearance if you have (but not limited to):
goods for trade, commercial or business use the Goods & Services Tax (GST) on which exceeds $300; or
goods clearly marked as trade samples (excluding liquor and tobacco products) the value on which exceeds $400

Thanks so much for all expert advice.
I've checked the detail.
It's not flammable.
It's not liquor. It's a liquid glue for acrylic / plastic joint.
And the value for total 10 bottles is just $45 SGD.
Need to pay tax too? It's not for trading , not for business as its just my own use.
I buy 10 because it's have better discount and don't need to buy frequently if it's finish. And for my project I need it much as theres many layers for stack and joint.

Again I really appreciate so much for all the expert had advice. Thanks Thanks!

Regards,

In this case, I suggest that you have the receipt of the purchase handy and that the bottles are labelled clearly so that the ICA will not charge you GST, and also deem that the contents are safe.
