import everything. even if need to pay gst+shipping it would be cheaper.

Budget:$500
Requirement: 420mm rad + 240(80mm) rad

My question is which brand would suit my build? Should i mixed different brands together or just stick with a particular brand?

Cooling both Cpu and Gpu! A cylinder res would be preferred!

A 480mm rad + 240mm rad isn't necessary at all. I have a single 240mm thin rad. I can handle both CPU and GPU with mild overclock without my GPU going anything above 50C on stress test. Unless you're going hardcore with OC eg. 5Ghz. It will be a waste of money. Just a 2x240mm rad would do the trick.

Honestly. 500 would be tight. Blocks alne will cost u close to 300 to 350. 480 rads essily cost u 200. Just these alone burst ur budget liao

I'm sure there's cheaper option, with not much headroom for crazy clock speed like 5Ghz right? :o

I believe I'm one of those who have priority for clean & nice set-up at affordable cost yet nt askin for maximum performance :)

brief breakdown

cpu block ~$50
gpu block ~$50(universal)/$110(full cover)
rad(420 + 240) ~$130+$50
tube res w/pump ~$140
tubing ~$20
fittings(2/item in loop) ~$20(barbs)/$80(compression)

all pricing in USD.
if u take the cheapest way out to wc, yes SGD$500 is the bare minimum with your requirements. but the setup will look X_X.

my advice is to save up more before jumping into wc to get performance w/o sacrificing looks

Hi. any example of how a $4-5xx setup versus a $8xx-1k setup would look like side by side?

no full setup to show but can just imagine this 2 scenarios

1) barbs vs compression fittings

2) universal vs full cover gpu blocks

I should be more specific, as you may or may not know the r9 290 runs hot right out of the box and i'm overclocking both my cpu and gpu to get the most out of them, which is the whole point of wc?! aesthetics will be great with a nice cable management and choice of products, you don't have to watercool.

I can up my budget to >600
<800
I think it's doable just takes time and effort to source, BRAND PLEASE?!
XSPC,EK,ETC?
Which website?(Maximum Pc,etc)

Honestly with $500 budget, I rather you go air cool sua. For $500 budget to cool so many stuffs with 480mm rad is tough. if you can get the lowest price components like Cyberwave state that the rig is gonna look like sh*t.

For WC setup, unlike aircool. You can happy happy change out the HSF or fans to change the overall design outlook. For WC once loop is up, you rarely will touch it for the next 6 months to 1 year. So my advise is to take this time to save up with read up more on wc before commiting to this WC hobby

Just go EK... EK-FC R9-290X , under compatibility XFX R9-290 is listed.
