Hi Everyone,
Trying to purchase a desktop to replace my 7 year old Asus gaming laptop. Not very good with PC building so pardon my ignorance here!
These are my main requirements:
- Light to moderate gaming. May want to play some of the AAA titles like: Assasin's creed, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Battlefield
- Hope it would last 5 years at least
- Power efficient
These are the 2 options I've narrowed down to. I don't want to DIY a PC as it's too much of a hassle and I don't have the time.
DREAMCORE - $2,200
– AMD Ryzen 5 3600
– ASUS PRIME B550M-A WIFI
– Cryorig M9 CPU Cooler
– 32GB (2x16GB) AMD BLACKOUT DDR4-3600MHz (AMD Certified Memory)
– MSI RTX 3060 GAMING X 12 GB
– 512GB Patriot VPN100 NVMe M.2 SSD (R:3300 W:2200)
- 1 TB PATRIOT BURST 2.5" SSD
– Optional HDD Upgrades Available
– 4 x 120mm Addressable RGB (ARGB) Fans
– On-Board Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Included
– SuperSolid Sleeved Extension Cables Included
– Cooler Master 650W 80+ Gold PSU
– Dreamcore Ghost V3.0 Chassis
AFTERSHOCK - $2750
- RAPID High Airflow Mesh Chassis
- Ryzen 5 5600X Processor
- AFTERSHOCK Glacier Series 240mm Watercooling
- GIGABYTE RTX 3070 EAGLE 8GB (Triple Fan)
- GIGABYTE B550M DS3H Motherboard
- 16GB Klevv BOLT XR DDR4 3600mhz Memory (8x2) Dual Channel
- 1TB GIGABYTE AORUS GEN4 PCIE SSD (R 5000 W 4400)
- FSP HYDRO PRO 800W 80Plus Bronze Certified PSU
- 6x Addressable RGB Fans
- INTEL AC Wireless + Bluetooth
- Black Braided Sleeved Cables Included
- 3 years Warranty (1st Year Onsite Pickup and Return)
Overall, i feel that the Aftershock option seems more value for money but I'm worried about the lifespan of the water cooler.
Thank you for your help guys!
