I bought a brand new ip5 online without receipt, i checked the serial number on Apple website & it state that the set has not been activated yet...Now when i want to use it, it cant seems to detect the sim & cant activate at all..
I went to Starhub today & they confirm its their set, but they dont want to change for me as i dont have any receipt of the contract..
Please advise..

There is no way to change from Teleco unless u have the receipt. Your best hope is to go tithe person who sell you the phone and exchange for you. If he is able to send u the receipt, u are lucky.

That is also help if this is a stolent phone.
But maybe you SIM card got a problem
