Stuck at post can't get into bios.

There is a option that says press esc to enter startup menu. Unable to get in.

I change my Rams and gpu. Booted up and it shows new Rams detected but it get stuck there. Display is connected to new Gpu. There is one short beep. However after quite a while there will be one short plus 3 fast simultaneous beep. Swap back old Rams and tried still unable to get past post. Tried reseting cmos, to no avail. Unsure what to do now

No VGA detected. Please re-seat your GPU.

L2beep. :)

I did put back the old rams, with the new gpu and still unable to go thru post.
I tested with the new rams with old gpu and it is good to go.

However i am sure i seated the gpu properly, even the display is hook up on the back of the hdmi slot. So there is a display coming but its not going thru post.

I went through toms hardware and found someone with the same issue, i guess the mobo is not compatible.

The GPU can be plugged in and still not be detected on post. There are a few possibilities why this would happen but a bad connection is the first thing to check.

With the power off, try wiggling the GPU in its socket and then power on again. You may have to try this a couple of times.

From section 3.1 of the Rampage Formula User Guide, a long beep followed by three short beeps indicate VGA not detected.

You could be right in that the GPU is not compatible but I would exhaust all possibilities before writing the GPU or MB off.
