Help new build

I finished building my computer, i turned on then it boots up, then i off, move to other location and now when i turn on the cpu fan just spin awhile and stop, nothings happen , led is there, press start but nothing happen, any idea???

Check the interior to see if anything came loose?

One of my ram is faulty, i was able to open it after keep on trying, i installed windows too, now i shutoff and it happens again, can it be the ram fault?

Hi, i keep trying, even unplugged one of the 4pin atx on my maximus vii formula. My mobo have 8 and 4pin, do i need to plug in both?

The 4 pin is there to give more power to the CPU during extreme OCing and is optional. The 8-pin is for the main power.

Got spare PSU?

Did u mixed up the gpu 6+2 pin with cpu 4+4 pin?
Don't think so, TS did manage to install Windows before this issue came up again. Not sure if it is PSU or mobo, so I am asking if got spare PSU.

Think TS already tried reseating the cables.

hmm, now the problem seem to be dissapear after i remove the 4pin atx. haha, i still can differentiate the cable..my first time building tho :s13: one of the ram cant be detected, think it is DOA

Can download and run Memtest 86+ to make sure the RAM is DOA.

Hi guys, went to exchange but the guy who tested my ram can detect both ram without problem. What could be the problem? I tested individually the ram and only one will have display while the other one dont..

Insert RAM into other RAM slots?

Got spare RAM? Doesn't matter if it has to come from another rig, as long as it is DDR3 RAM.
