Maybe you wait longer after the update?
The first reboot after update usually takes quite long.
The phone if update to v14 is like after press reboot the screen totally black and nothing happen lol. Is update reboot supposed to be like this? Lol

TS likes to buy or ask opinion on buying low end electronic products.

For example 2 weeks ago, asked opinion on low end 2.5" sata ssd HP or Leven. For the same price at $90, i recommended micron with local warranty. Then TS bought the micron sata 500GB because it cost only $30+.

Before that bought redmi 10c then posted regretted buying.
The crucial ssd i buy and tested cloning my laptop is working lol. So far so good lol. I will consider buy another one to clone my another laptop.

I had wanted 1TB same as my laptop but the price too steep lol so settle for 500 gb

So you forever won't update?
Haha
Don't think any phone allows you to jump directly to version 15

There are I am sure dirt scums with ulterior motives & agendas here but I believe other EDMWers will honestly and through experience recommend others here something

I did recommend buying a flagship phone and where they improve in performance .
However I stopped short of saying its the BEST cos I know people will twist my words to say I said its soooo great and infallible

But its still a legitimate recommendation and I honestly didn't experience anything wrong before recommending
I'm just curious where are all the poco m5 users! Lol

This v14 is supposed to be MIUI 13 to 14.

The thing about xiaomi is their MiUI version don't match the android version.

So i can live with no update since MIUI 13 is not very old

So the push is correct?

I just updated finish google everything seem like the reboot issues comes from the v14 firmware.

Now i not yet update i still can reboot the phone nicely
Then skip this update wait few months for the next update. The m5 thread also got someone said after updated to miui 14 reboot need to hold power button to turn on.

I don't think you can permanently block notifications from them

AND problem is sometimes notifications come & you press and press and end up download their updates

Can you skip one update and next update will supercede previous one?
Or its 2 updates downloaded in one go

You can't press & hold Icon or go to Notifications and block all notifications from them?
Cannot lol that particular notification the backend notification toggle is turn ON and grey out for turn off lol. Meaning they force it alway on

Wah lol

which edmwers go recommend TS go bai this fone huan :ROFLMAO:

IIRC

think i remember saying stay away from the M series due to its notorious M3 deadboot issue

Only the X and F series in the POCO family can bai huan albeit they also hv their own set of problems

I think it will go away if got ignored. A few times downloaded the ota update but did not reboot immediately as battery low need to wait for charging complete. Got notification to reboot. One hour later unlocked phone the notification gone and the updater show no new update. Need to wait few days or weeks later for the server to push the update to my phone again.

Then xiaomi update server usually will push smaller few hundred MB OTA recovery rom. If missed the first push, the update server will then push the larger few GB full recovery rom the 2nd time.

Go to the updater setting turn off download and update automatically.

wah why ur one update till 14.0.7

i saw ur thread and went to update my f4... only 14.0.3

anyway com on la people want to bash also bash apple vs apple not apple vs orange

poco or xm phone is good and valuable for the price level.

u cannot take a 300 dollar phone go and compare to iphone at 2.3K right?

now my own take is... poco and xm makes good phone for the price. i just really hate xm's IU... their software sucks balls

i still love my HW... 5 year old phone already still pawnzz and HW's emui is awesomeee

would have bought new hw if got google
