My iPhone 4 suddenly couldn't detect any signal (not 3G, but plain GSM) this morning after being powered on. It has been showing "no service" at home and all the way to the office.

Now I've put it on "airplane mode" to prevent it from constantly searching in vain. I'm on M1. Anybody else has this fatal issue?

1) Did you pay bill?
2) Tried reboot?
3) Call 1627.
4) Try get a sim card changed.
