Hi all I would like some help and advice on building a budget gaming pc.

My budget is around $1k. Ok to exceed abit.

I am new to to building my own pc and would be really grateful if you all can give advice on the components I need(full rig). Preferably a set up that I can improve on in the future when I have the extra cash

the same setup in another post but the case recommended is different. Is there a reason for that?

Coolermaster N200 size up to M-ATX
that other thread the guy want ATX chassis.

BTW, (hijack) genuine question. Can ask why recommend MSI H81M-E35 V2 instead of last time the cheaper asrock hds one. Quality difference?

To be honest, very hard to say abt future, but if you aren't picky about graphics settings, i believe can one. the i5 and 960 quite enough for playing games on high now, if dun mind 1-2 years later high become medium :D.

I was looking at the price of the gtx960 on lazada and saw a palit gtx960 Jetstream. It seems to be slightly cheaper. Isit around the same as the zotac?

performance between Palit and Zotac GTX960 should be very similar. maybe clock speeds a bit different but it won't make any impact.
