Hi good evening HWZ shifus, am looking to assemble a new PC for all-around use (work, entertainment, decent quality gaming). Would like to seek your expertise.

My budget is $1,400 to $1,500. I don't need keyboard or mouse, but would need a new screen.

Many many thanks for any help you can provide regarding parts I should buy and who can assemble for me.

well if u have any friends or cousin that can build PC that will be good, if not self learn.

Next if u really dun wanna do that you can buy parts bring down to SLS and look for nigel(maybe check with him if he can.)

Lastly for beginner user on DIY, best will be PCT, but u better purchase all parts from them.

Any preference for colour scheme? E.g. Black with White/Red/Blue/Green/Gold/etc…
Need any of these within the budget?

Windows
WiFi adapter

Placing PC on table or floor?
Any physical dimension constraint at your PC holding area?

Will the monitor screen orientation be facing any glaring light source like window?

Which internet provider plan and router are you using?
Is your home in a relatively new apartment built in the past 8 years?
How far is your upcoming PC located from the router?
Any obstruction between your PC and router?

- No specific preference for colour, but black base would be nice
- Yep I need Windows OS
- I'm planning to plug straight into router, so no wifi adaptor needed
- Placing PC on table, have no holding area constraints
- Screen won't be facing any glaring light source
- I use Starhub 1 GPBS with DIR 868L router, no obstructions. Computer will be right next to router.

Thanks!

buy a second hand fully built system if you can wait for the right deal. some people sell near new (less than 6 months old) at low price.

1.4k budget I think enough to include an ssd.

Maybe go for WD blue and get a cheaper gtx 960 from palit or zotac and can use the savings for an ssd.

Very exp considering absence of SSD and just GTX 960 only.

$1500 can already get him Skylake, GTX 970 and 480GB SSD. :)
