Help On First DIY Rig

Hi guys. I've recently sold my iMac 5k. Don't ask me why just some finance issues.

And now i'm looking at similar build. With a budget of 1.5-1.8k max.

I have this few in mind.

•Gigabyte H97-D3H + i5 4690
•Gigabyte GTX970 G1 Gaming 4GB
•NZXT H440 BlacK/Red Case
•Seasonic M12-I 520W modular PSU
•Corsair h100i CPU AIO Cooler

I need recommendations on which RAM preferably 2x 8gb, and what else.
I'll be needing 2 SSDs 1 for Win and 1 for *ehem*tosh. Don't worry about storage as that comes last. And if it still fits the budget, do help me choose a great display too! 21-24" will be just nice.

I'll be building my own and should I get these from Tradepac or other places?

I'm quite an average gamer (Borderlands and such) and Adobe (CS6 & LR) needs to work flawlessly.

Any critics/advises are welcome.

Your budget is really demanding for what you want. And you may want to post it on HWC main forum for more attention.
