Hi Mini-ITX experts, my desktop pc just went dead on me. Thus i decided to build a mini-itx system as its replacement. This is first time buidling mini-itx system so hoping to seek advices from experts in this forum :)

I have done some research and come out with the build below

Thermaltake Core V21 - 89 (fuwell)
Corsair CX650M Modular 600W 80+ Bronze- 119 (fuwell)
MSI 110I + i5 6500 - 417 (Cybermind), 418 (PC Themes)
G.Skill PC2400 CL15 DDR4 8 GB - 56 x 2 = 112 (fuwell)
Palit Gefore GTX 750 TI 2GB - 0 (Old Graphic Card)
C.Master Seidon 120V Plus Water Cooling Kit - 88 (fuwell)

I have give myself a budget of 800 bucks to build this rig. So i wonder is a water cooling kit a necessity for mini-itx system? Is heating an issue for mini-itx system? I see a alot of mini-itx builds online and most of them have come with a cooler kit.

Adding in the cooler kit will cost me around $826 so i wonder should i stick with my budget and throw the cooler kit away or just over-budget abit haha

Most of the time i will be using the system for surfing, watching videos or play abit of game. So i wonder if the above build is okay for me or not?

Feel free to give me advices and thanks for reading :)

Few things I think its not necessary,
1) DDR4 2400 - Think you can settle for cheaper 2133 rams. Only Z170 chipset supports anything higher than 2133.
2) 600W PSU - I think the rig don't require that much power though its good to have
3) Water Cooler

The mobo + CPU is not for overclocking, so the above may not be beneficial. I rather you invest the money on something else to upgrade.

Point noted on the RAM. I select 2400 over 2133 because the price difference between this 2 is small...I never realise that the mobo i choose did not support 2400 RAM, thanks for the advice.

What other things you think i should invest?

Thanks noted on the RAM and PSU advice. Will need to buy 2 sticks of RAM because i often need to run 2 or 3 virtual machines for work purposes.

Hmm...Wondering should I downgrade my PSU to cut cost..

Oh yeah i forget to list out my Harddisk...I intend to use back my old 256GB ssd and 1 TB western digital harddisk. Thanks for the reminder :D

Oic..Is it too big for mini-itx? I actually don't mind a slightly bigger size since i am downgrading from a Full Tower casing which is my former system.

I was actually wanted to buy v1 at first because i like the design. However when i see v21, the design is almost the same but just slightly bigger in size and the price difference is not that much. And it seems to support mini-itx too

Then i guess a little bit more space might be useful when i arrange the cables in the casing. And also it might helps to improve the airflow in the casing too.
