Hi all, attached is the screenshot on my desktop. Can anyone tackle the problem? is it a software issue, tried alot of installation but cannot work. Can it be the motherboard issue. Bought it yesterday without testing the sound.

tried install from realtek still cannot, i will try install the windows 10 free upgrade, if problem still exist means likely hardware issue?

I was thinking your new motherboard don't have windows 7 drivers because too old.

If windows 10 also don't work then need return

There is audio driver installed, since there is the volume icon in the taskbar.

We just don't know what is installed and selected.

And we have absolutely no idea of what you did and what you want.

Something very obvious, did you check the volume setting? Is it mute or tuned down to zero?

During testing, did you plug your speakers/headphones to the back panel or front panel jack of your casing? Always better to plug it straight to the back panel first when testing.

Under Sound, is it the default playback device selected in Windows?
