HELP! PC still running even after shutdown.

This is my current PC setup.

Asrock Z87 Extreme 4 + i5-4460 CPU
POWER COLOR R7 260X
GSKILL 8GB VALUE RAM
SEASONIC M12II-MODULAR 620W
WD Blue 1TB
DEEPCOOL TESSERAC BLUE USB 3.0 CASING

Windows 8.1


Recently after i shutdown my PC, the LEDs are still running but the monitor shows nothing at all, as if the PC had shut down already. Tried googling and turned off fast startup already, but still doesn't work. Need help guys! thanks in advance

Got any usb devices connected other than mouse and keyboard?

wireless adapter. was suspecting if its the problem, but does it really affect?

do you have the power on USB KB/Mouse option disabled?

try removing any usb devices only kb and mouse and see if it shuts down correctly

case fans still spinning?

Try reseat your 24/4+4 cables from PSU to motherboard. When OS shutdown, a signal goes to motherboard and this is then passed to PSU to shutdown. Somehow the signal failed to get through. Possibilities:
1. Motherboard
2. Power supply unit
3. BIOS power setting
4. BIOS bug
