Help pls. Keyboard locked.

Hi all, after updating to the latest Swipe update, I'm not able to key in my password to use my note 2 because the keyboard isn't there. It's now replaced by google voice and it too doesn't work.

I've tried to wiping the cache with volume up, power button and home key but it still does'nt work.

It's the same problem as the picture below. Anyone know how to rectify this problem? Thanks

U set password when unlocking the phone? Do u hv any otg micro to usb? U can connect a keyboard to type in ur password...

Like you, a few other people from the various websites also recommended using an OTG cable.

I bought an OTG cable and managed to key in my password using an external keyboard. Thanks!.

Nope, that is not my phone. It's picture that i saw while searching for a solution. That picture best explains my problem.

have you tried hard reset?

That would be my last resort. Fortunately, I didn't have to do that.
