help! psu trip circuit breaker?

i got a new pc, using EVGA 650G+ GOLD. whenever i turn on the switch to my pc, the circuit breaker switch for my room trips. i never had this problem before, the last psu i used is cooler master 625w for abt 5 yrs.
i can go flip that circuit breaker switch back and my pc will turn on and run fine.

1. i read that it might be the high inrush current that this EVGA psu draws upon switching on, so the circuit cannot handle, causing the trip. is this true? or is the psu faulty?
why does it run fine after i flip back the circuit breaker?

2. is it ok if i just go flip back the circuit breaker and continue using my pc, everytime this happens? or will the circuit breaker get weaker overtime? does the psu get weaker as well? what are the options to fix this?

I would say bring back the PSU to the shop and get a replacement.

how do i check? there are many switches and only 1 is tripped, below it says N N L 16A, 220/580v.

is your power plug directly plug onto the socket outlet or extension? Try moving your CPU into a different room/socket outlet and power it up and see if it trips again.

If plug into extension, try plug direct into wall socket and see if trip the breaker. If no, likely your extension is having issue. If yes, take PSU and go back to shop for replacement.

Mine had something similar happening. It turns out to be the second BenQ monitor that I connected to the same extension along with the PC, 1st monitor and external amp.

I solved this by introducing an unused Home Automation wall plug which the PC connects to. So when the main power is turned on, only the 3 other devices will turn on 1st and there'll be a few seconds delay before the PC's plug will turn on. This allows for less sudden power draw from the main circuit.

Thus, it's been years since I had to deal with power trips from then on.

16A? Probably the breaker is too old and became more sensitive.
