[Help] PSU Watts recomendation

hi there im currently running intel 9700k and gtx 2080 with 16gb ram and 650w PSU. However keep kana auto restart esepcially when gaming half way. Is 650W PSU enough for this set up? Am guessing its a PSU issue. Inputs appreciated

Describe what psu you are currently using and how old le. Also, what other testing was done?

U can try doing some 1-2 hrs benchmarks, reset any overclock settings and see if gt issues?

Check your system estimated power consumption using an online psu calculator. If the value is higher than your current psu, maybe not enough juice It might help to list your full system specs and state if any overclocking done.

As Shadow had asked, what IS your present PSU?

My personal philosophy is, get as powerful a PSU as you can afford, for that extra headroom for OC'ing and/or future upgrades. All the PSU's you see in my profile were bought years ago, my Seasonic X-1250 was bought for my present rig, saw me through single powerful and power hungry GPU to my present 2x RX VEGA64's.....almost 6 years old now, still going strong!

You should provide the PSU model and also list out if you have done any overclocking on your CPU/ GPU. Auto restart may not always be related to PSU.

Your psu is good enough, ypur problem might be due to insufficient of power point/outlet. Try not to use Trail socket, that's the wrost power socket than a 2/3 multi ways wall socket.
