HELP, QNAP NAS PROBLEM! NEED ASSISTANCE!

Dear all,

my qnap nas went bonkers. As in, when it powered off last night and then turn on again today, disk 2 is dismounted and faulty. My disk 1 is abnormal and disk 3 went abnormal when it was like rebuilding disk 4 which is the hot spare. Both disk 1 and 3 says read write error. Unlike disk 2, disk 2 totally has no light at all

I would like to ask if my data are all gone? I am using raid 5.

Those circle things on MP3 & MTV no have number of folders or files mean data gone?

Please help me if possible.

I am going to try get some HDDs today.

Depend on which Raid system you use, you may lose your data if Raid 5 is used. Raid 5 allows a single disk failure.

I using raid 5 now. so far out of about close to 8TB, i only use like 800GB. jtjt00, if can can you PM me so I can show you some screen shots. I don't know how to add it here.

IS my data gone seeing that 2 disk are red and abnormal?

My disk 2 is dismounted by the NAS. Dis k 4 is hot spare
