I bought a 2x4gb hyperx fury ram to upgrade the single stick g skill 1333 ram in my PC. And now my com won't boot up with both sticks installed.

Ram sticks work only when there is a single stick of ram installed.

Updated bios to no avail.

There is no memory remap option or xmp option ( ram is only PNP )

Do you guys have any advice?

2 Slots.

Is it possible one ram slot is spoilt? Because the PC doesn't boot when it's single slot but in position B.

Boots up if in position A

Either RMA your mobo or live with one stick of ram.

Lol.

I also came to that conclusion.

Maybe I will get a new com. Sell the usable but faulty mobo @ a cheaper price and let him RMA if needed.

usually the words 'usable' and 'faulty' don't go together leh. oxymoronic.
