Hi, can anyone help me out here? I have a Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU PC setup, however i am experiencing random no signal to monitor when i boot up the PC. To make it work again, i have to power-cycled and drained it for 80sec.

I have updated all MB/Drivers to the latest version, i have disabled the integrated AMD APU on bios, set bios to Gen4 PCIe, none of the above work. I have spared PC to test the monitor and HDMI cable, and it's working well.

Can someone with similar issue shared how you fixed it?

Thanks.

well you have a 4090.. You might want to check the 12vhpwr cable for signs of burning or any burning smell. Also please list your full setup so that others know what you are working with

txs, my setup is AMD 7950x, B650 gaming x/ax MB, 64Gb ram
hmmm... i didn't notice any burn smell. I didn't open up the casing as i dont think i have the expertise to meddle with the things inside, it's quite a heaving casing too...

High power demanding cpu/gpu you have. Just in case, what psu do you use for this setup ?

Did you overclock the RAM? If yes, set to spec speed. Otherwise, run the Display Driver Uninstaller(DDU) and install the latest Nvidia driver.

If you mean you have to wait for a while than on the PSU.
Could be PSU issue.
You can bring to distro for checking but need recepit.

Since you know nothing about hardware. can't do anything by yourself even if you know what's wrong. from forum's members. You should make a trip to PC CARE & Solution 1 rochor canal road, sim lim square #02-32, Singapore, Singapore, tel 9048 7338, email nigelng81@gmail.com for a full computer check up. The last person might not done the job properly. :)

thanks all, i brought the pc from aftershock and i did send back for servicing but after few days the problem return. i begin to think is home power not enuf when i power up? my pc is plug in to the wall power socket directly, not using any extension cable.

i also suspect is PSU or ram but aftershock say they are ok. i worry if i go to nigel my pc dont show the same problem. I manage to boot up this morning when i turn off aircon and all charging laptops/phones/tablet. Will try this method tml again.

I won't trust Aftershock service center which I don't want to say too much.
If not some think I am against Aftershock.
Put it this way if Aftershock cannot find the fault or understand the issue.

I think you just bring to a shop like PCThemes, Fuwell etc. let them check.
I myself not sure how they do the cabling maybe lose somewhere especially
the 12vhpwr cable.

is-this-bend-okay-for-the-12vhpwr-cable-please-suggest-v0-806v9zlq9lbc1.png

This cable when plug in, you must hear a click than it means fully plug in.
Aftershock I know they don't wire this, proably pull from somewhere so maybe this
cable is lose.

Comfirm they don't do the cabling this way which is from under but from side.
