[help] Recommend Budget hotel @ TMS

Hi guys

i plan to go taipei next week to see Pingxi Sky lantern. also how to go to TMS from Airport? Do I need to book the railway first to Pingxi as I heard it will be crowded.

1. can recommend me a budget hotel AT Taipei Main Station (TMS) so that I won't get lost

(I wonder is it possible to find a place to stay @ shifen on 14 Feb)

2. Best budget way to go cingjng farm from TMS and afforable minsu for a night @ there.

There is no way u can book e railway to pingxi as all the trains from ruifang or badu to pingxi are local trains. Local trains offer no sesting placement. Free for all.

If u have no plans as of now, no lodging, u are in for a great adventure.

from Taipei/taipei (I think it's TMS) to Pinghsi/Shifen

seems like have 2 slots but it's T.C. Ltd Exp.instead of local train... No idea what is it is

Did u check if pingxi n shifen is available? When u choose taipei?

You go click on the train no..It doesnt bring u straight to shifen or pingxi cos it doesnt go there..Only local train from Badu/Ruifang does..

The Tze-Chiang bring u till Badu or Ruifang..And so, there's no booking for Pingxi line cos all local train niax..

Example: from the results Tze-Chiang Limited Express (train type) train code 204. how come it say Origin to Destination is Shulin→Zhiben ?

The route will starts at shulin, passing by taipei to ruifang to yilan to hualien. Ending at Zhiben in Taitung.

Click on the train code and u will see this..

Ruifang is where u gonna get off, get tickets and wait for the train into pingxi line..
